If you're on a budget and don't require a stroller that doubles as a car seat carrier The Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It comes with a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.
It's easy to push and it feels solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.
1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a name as the ultimate light-weight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, thanks to its nimble maneuverability and fold that fits in the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels, made from Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.
The frame's base YOYO2 frame along with the curved fabric bassinet and the 6+ month color pack combine to create a stylish pushchair that's easy to look at and has a subtle but elegant aesthetic and tasteful branding. The frame's base weight is less than a kilo, and is so light it is able to be lifted from the box with one hand.
The hood, for instance snaps onto the YOYO2 in a reassuring way. It's also machine washable up to 30 degrees which helps prevent the stains that result from smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. It can be used as a pram starting from birth with the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to stroller at 6 months using the YOYO Connect additional chassis.
2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents looking for a versatile stroller wagon. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be converted from a stroller to an actual wagon by flipping the handle. Parents can then decide which mode is best for their needs. The wagon can be used by one or two children from 6 months up to 5 years, and it comes with a spacious storage basket that can accommodate everything you require on the go.
single lightweight stroller has dual canopies which can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than other wagons. This may not be suitable for long trips or napping.
The frame of the Xplore wagon is solid and sturdy, however, it isn't able to bend as much as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition and it doesn't secure when folded. It is easy to move however, and can fit through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.
3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents seeking a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored highly in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight and compact when folded and easy to move and store into a car trunk. It also offers the option of reclining in multiple positions and an adult cup holder. Other key features include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.
It did better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage, and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopy sizes.
The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to assemble with an average manual, and none of the components required tools. But, it's lacking certain essential features that we believe you should consider non-negotiable in a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's newest pushchair, and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is suitable from birth until around 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be easily converted with a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and a reversible baby carriage.

It is really easy to maneuver, and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the super large shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child in and out quickly. Although it is a small pushchair, it was able to handle the everyday bumps with ease and was able to pass through doorways without any fuss.
The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position, or they can swivel. This is helpful for navigating through rough terrain. On our walk along the stony path we let them move and it did this quite well, though it did appear more bumpy than the other models that we tested.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2
Baby Jogger is a household name for their three-wheeled, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also have a wide selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It is easy to fold and can fit in the car's boot even with an attached carrycot.
It's a bit heavier than the other strollers we test, however the wheels are made of rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and durable. It is easy to maneuver over various terrains and even with two kids, a shopping bag and other items.
Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that are able to be lower to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams, which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.
It's not a lot of storage space, but it does come with a huge basket that's big enough to hold a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. You can also use it with the Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies who weigh 20 pounds or less (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be used on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.
6. Nuna Mixx Next
Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of a lot of parents when it first debuted. It's an aluminium framed stroller that can see you through your baby's early days and beyond. It's got a few distinctive features like the possibility of flipping the seat to be parent-facing and world-facing, a large UPF 50+ canopy that has a flip out eyeshade as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.
The wheels are durable and filled with foam which minimizes punctures and the chassis has built-in suspension which takes the sting out of bumpy terrain. It was simple to push and our test driver was able manoeuvre the vehicle through the narrow streets.
It folds in four simple steps and locks automatically without hassle. It can also be folded and stood up for easier transport down the stairs or in the trunk of the car. It also comes with a travel system equipped with the ability to add a car seat and a carrycot using the included adaptors. The brakes are easy to use with single action colored and flip-flop compatible.
7. Babyzen Duet
This budget pushchair is easy to operate and features a fantastic dual suspension. It folds with one hand and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also very light and robust. The seat can be reclined into a variety of different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress that's suitable for babies.
The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors that are fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't perfect - it's not as silent as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.
The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be configured to accommodate twins or siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even works with some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be set so that they face each the other. They can also be positioned towards the parents. This can help to reduce sibling disputes over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a huge tray for gears as well as a bottle holder and snack tray. It also has a compact stand fold, and an automatic frame lock.
8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2
The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal jogger for parents that like to be active. The seat is very comfortable and provides plenty of space to sit. However, the seat depth is smaller than that of other joggers (it's only about 10") The storage bin is secured with a zipper to keep things safe. It can hold up to 10 pounds. This is enough for most diaper bags.
The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters to fit most bassinets and car seats for infants, but you can use them from the first day with adapters that fit brands such as BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to put together with no tools. The manual is simple to read and contains a variety of languages.
